Museu da Marioneta presents an exibition on the world of mask and puppet shows from Thailand. Although the collection of Francisco Capelo encompasses other elements from the Thai culture, the exebition focuses solely upon the masks of the Khon theatre. The actors of this drama-dance do not talk, but interprete their characters through expressive gestures and the Thai dance vocabulary. Characters are recognizable by the features of the masks or crowns which can be seen in the exibition.
