EPKE, SUMMER MASTERCLASS WORKSHOP, Marionettes:
Between Tradition and Present
The Workshop will take place from 4th to 14th July 2013 in Ljubljana Puppet Theatre (www.lgl.si), Slovenia. It is organised by Ljubljana Puppet Theatre within the European Puppetry Knowledge Exchange (EPKE) project.
Our vocational training is intended for all those, who are professionally involved in puppetry and wish to gain additional knowledge indesigning of hybrid mimic marionettes with a focus on different functions of the marionettes’ head expressions (making of different eye or mouth movements).
The course fee is 300 €. The number of participants is limited to 15. Preferences will be given to the candidates with the best references. The participants are also requested to attach their short CV, information on their experience with the puppet theatre (both acting and design) and a brief description of their own puppet design as well as a couple of its sketches.
