Eloi Recoing ist zum neuen Direktor des Institut International de la Marionnette in Charleville-Mézières ernannt worden. Er wird die Stelle im kommenden Juli antreten.
Der Regisseur, Pädagoge, Schriftsteller und Übersetzer Eloi Recoing befasst sich schon seit langer Zeit intensiv mit dem Puppentheater, sowohl persönlich als auch beruflich. Als künstlerischer und pädagogischer Leiter des von seinem Vater Alain Recoing gegründeten Théâtre aux Mains Nues ist er mit den Fragen der Ausbildung und Weitergabe bestens vertraut. Eloi Recoing ist außerdem Dozent am Instiut für Theaterwissenschaft an der Universität Sorbonne Nouvelle und unterrichtet an mehreren Theaterhochschulen.
Eloi Recoing was appointed Director of the Institut International de la Marionnette. He will take office in July 2014.
As a stage director, a teacher, a writer and a translator, Eloi Recoing dealt with Puppetry throughout his life, as well in private as in public. As the artistic director and the teaching head of the Théâtre Aux Mains Nues, which was founded by his father Alain, Eloi Recoing is deeply touched by the stakes of education and transmission. He is a lecturer at the Institut d’Études Théâtrales at the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3 and he also teaches in several theatre schools.
